About the Book

Happy New Year! We hope you’ve been creating reasonable resolutions and sticking to them. No more vowing never to eat chocolate again. Instead, allow yourself to savor a nibble as a Friday evening treat. Whatever your goals, don’t overdo them. Remember, you don’t want to add more stress, you want to relieve it!

Over the past several months, we’ve been busy with the release and promotion of our new book, The Frantic Woman’s Guide to Life: A Year’s Worth of Hints, Tips, and Tricks (Warner Books, January 2004). The book has received great reviews from Booklist and Library Journal and has gained national attention in such publications as USA Today, Writer’s Digest Magazine, and Complete Woman. And look for us in the March issue of Real Simple Magazine (on newsstands mid-February).

We’ve been interviewed for local television shows (our NBC affiliate, KDKA-TV; our public television station, WQED; a local cable access channel, Adelphia), in addition to appearing in local newspapers and magazines, and presenting at a couple of crowded, sell-out book signings. We have two online chats scheduled in January at women-together.com and power-surge.com and hopefully much, much more. Thanks so much to all who have helped us along the way and to all those interested frantic women who have already told us how much they value the book.

To give you a taste of what The Frantic Woman’s Guide to Life has to offer, here’s a look at the cover and a brief excerpt.
