Product Description: Kule'a Farm's traditional kava is an all-natural soothing and calming beverage powder made from the roots of the kava plant (Piper Methysticum); once the roots are harvested they are sun dried and ground into powder, nothing is added or taken away. We import the whole dry kava to Hawaii where it is ground and packaged, that way we know exactly what goes into your kava powder. Our kava is grown on the islands of Fiji, Hawaii, Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea. Packaged in resealable plastic bags. To prepare kava we recommend you place the kava powder into a strainer bag and mix with water; this is the way it is done in the Polynesian Islands of the S. Pacific today.
